With time we hope that this section can grow to become a useful addition to the written parts of the site. If you have any problems accessing any of the downloads please let me know by using the contact page. New downloads will be made available regularly and notices put up on the front page. Enjoy!

Qbert - QFO Showcase @ Bristol -

This download comes courtesy of Gizmo at skratchworx who shot most of Qbert's set during his UK leg of the QFO tour. The whole thing is in two files, with a total of around 140mg. Due to bandwith limitations these files might be pulled off till the beginning of the following month, but you'll be alerted if that's the case. Enjoy and many thanks to Gizmo for this one! Download file 1 here and file 2 here (right click and save for both, or left click for stream).

DJ Big Band - Say Yeah! (Live)

So prepare to be surprised by what 1 saxophone, 1 voice and 120 fingers can do! Many thanks to Lamont and the rest of the Big Band for letting us host this. 2tall - A Groove of Satyre

When the guys at The Groove of Satyre sent in a copy of their new scratch tool, 'Dialogue and Random Phase 1', for reviewing we thought who better to put this new tool through its paces then 2tall, all round sick tablist and talented producer. After playing with the record for a few weeks, 2tall came up with this track, composed entirely with the TGOS record. For more info on the record itself and where to order check the guys' site and also peep 2tall's review which you'll find in the news section. Download the song here (Right click and save. 6mb)

Bungalow Zen - Bis, Do you know? & Twilight Zone

This triple video download comes courtesy of the guys at T-Turn.com, DJTayone.com and Alienarmy.net. Bungalow Zen are a new formation that sprung from the long established Italian Crew Alien Army, who released the excellent 'The End' LP in 2003. Since then the various members of the Army moved onto different projects, one of which saw Tayone and Skizo team up with virtuoso Italian bass player Lorenzo Feliciati to form Bungalow Zen. After some rehearsing in early 2005, the group premiered their live show on the Italian TV music program 'All Music', where the show is on constant rotation and has received enthusiastic feedback from the public. To celebrate the group's debut, T-Turn and Bungalow Zen have given us 3 exclusive videos of new songs which were performed on 'All Music'. In addition they will be presenting a special Turntable Radio Takeover show this year, where they will introduce the band and their music to us over the course of their own show. But in the meantime get a taste of what Bungalow Zen have to offer with these very tasty videos. And look out for their album soon.

Nick Nack Looper

Here's a change from our usual downloads. Nick Nack, head honcho at Crowd Control Records, has donated his brand new looper to the site. So if you've run out of beats for practice or are looking for some new ones then feast your eyes and ears on this baby. Composed of 3 soundbanks, this looper offers you the following: one bank composed of raw drum breaks for composing, using tools such as 'Soundscraftman' to build on top of, one bank full of Nick's own beats taken from past releases and one bank full of commercial breaks and beats. On top of all that you also get links to a series of mixes by the man, so when you've had enough of cutting you can chill to some of that. All you have to do is download the looper and open it using your browser of choice. Download the file here (right click and save as. 8mb)

2tall, Netik, Tigerstyle - Pro X Fader freestyle session - PLASA 2005

One of the highlights of PLASA 2005 was this improvised freestyle session we managed to set up between Tigerstyle, Netik and 2tall, on the EB stand. Here are 2 clips, of about 5-6mins each of the session, which was all done using the pro x fader. But it's the cuts which are of interest here, with some very impressive turns from all 3 DJs. The files are quite big though, so be warned if you're still rocking dial up. Many thanks to Gizmo at Skratchworx.com for filming and the guys for their patience as well as EB for providing the spot.
Download the first video here (right click and save as. Avi file. 50mb) and the second one here (right click and save as. Avi file. 80mb).

It's taken from the album 'Notwithstanding' which came out in 2005 on the Hobby Industries label. Many thanks to Tatsuki for letting us use the track, and be sure to check the sites for info on where to find the album and more on Bichi.

DJ Woody - Live at DJs for Life, Dec 05

The first video from our DJs for Life footage is from the UK's Woody. This is part of Woody's set on the night, and features his latest juggle routine, which is truly on its own. You really have to see it, but it takes things up a notch and really shows that there could well still be some creativity left in juggling. This isn't your usual battle type steez. If you get a chance to catch Woody live solo or with the One Self outfit than you'll probably be able to see him rock this live, as well as some of his other routines and showcases.
Download the file here - Right click and save as (Windown Media Video file, 13mb).

DJ Quest - Live at DJs for Life, Dec 05

Next up from our DJs for Life footage is the one and only DJ Quest from the Bullet Proof Space Travellers. On the night Quest dropped a dope 40 mins set of classic breaks and hip hop tracks, with a good dose of the cutting and juggling that has made him a household name. If you want to see some dope transforming over fast electro beats and more than be sure to check these two videos!

DJ Tayone & Excess - Live in Salerno, November 05

Thanks to Crs at T-Turn for this video of Tayone (ex-Alien Army member) and Excess doing a little showcase in Salerno, Italy in November 2005. This video is split into 4 parts, small extracts from the night. The sound quality isn't amazing, and is quite loud on the first video (so be sure to turn down your amp/speakers etc...) but the showcase itself is really nice and shows what these two have been up to for the last year, as they've been regularly hooking up and collaborating. You can find more info on Tayone at his site and for Excess be sure to hit up Styluswars.com for the latest. In the meantime enjoy the vids.
